The cultural diversity, that has resulted from rapidly increasing cross-border migration and globalization, has brought with it new political and social challenges. Sadly, the changes in our communities these events engender have also been shown to trigger fears and rejection.

The Performing Arts are unquestionably one of the oldest and most democratic antidotes to the scourge of bigotry and non-acceptance through their historical capacity to reflect how such changes can, in fact, enrich and strengthen our communities. Classical music, opera and dance can and must be used as the means to demonstrate the positive aspects of our evolving multicultural world in order to help us achieve a better understanding of, and dialogue between, our different communities.

Muse Art Foundation was born out of the recognition of the urgent need to seed a future generation of artists who will be the representatives of our global multicultural civilization. Artists, who in spite of the ubiquity of the virtual and social networks we live with, struggle to accede to the very small and closed world of the performing arts.

I am convinced that we learn from those who see the world from different perspectives and who think of diversity as a means of enrichment and as a way to promote and build social cohesion. My goal is to seek out talented artists worldwide and to build a “Muse without boarders” accessible to all.

Muse Art Foundation will be a nursery for such artists, offering a five year mentoring program to improve, learn and work with the best in their field and foster a sustainable artistic career.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors who share the vision that the Performing Arts are universal and need to be borderless, Muse Art Foundation (US tax deductible nonprofit 501(c3) Foundation) will establish its bases in India, Africa and Europe in order to ensure the broadest possible access to the hidden talents who may become leading cultural influences in the future.
